Thankful.....

This year we started a new tradition for the month of November. Jaden was in a car accident on Halloween night... it was pretty bad. He walked away from it with no major injuries, but the car had about $6200.00 damage. We were so THANKFUL he was alright, that the next day I made a THANKFUL jar, set it on the counter, where it sat the entire month of November. We wrote on little slips of paper... all month long... all the things we were THANKFUL for. Then we had a special THANKFUL dinner and passed around the jar reading all the things we were THANKFUL for.

Christmas Tree Adventure

Tradition: The Saturday after Thanksgiving... we pile in the car and head to Christmas Tree Meadows to cut down our Christmas Tree.

This year it was just the four of us because Jaden had to work. When he got home and saw our tree, he said he would NEVER miss going again. He said our tree was way too small!!

MOAB... JEEPIN... FALL... 2011

Ty couldn't stand it... we had the JEEP for 10 days and it needed to be introduced to MOAB. So he took Jaxon and Jessie for a quick weekend trip. (Jaden and I stayed home so Jaden could go to Homecoming)

2 weeks later....

Boys and Their Toys...

Last week we bought a Jeep. We needed a third car and thought a Jeep would be fun to have. Little did we know how much entertainment this Jeep would be!!

We bought it Friday night.

Saturday morning at 8:30 am this was the scene at our house...

Making sure there were NO smudges on the car.

Later that day we went for a drive over Guardsman. It was great until the dust got it dirty.

When we got home... they (the 3 boys) cleaned it up again.

After it was clean to their satisfaction, the Jeep took it's place in the garage.

The boys sat and looked at it.

Then... they decided to take it for another spin.

Note: The time was 10:15 pm
