The Best Race Yet!

Okay, so maybe we are enjoying the running a little more than we should! We ran the best race course last week. However, it didn't start out like it was the best...straight up hill for the first half mile...who signed us up for this?!? But what goes up, must come down, so the last 2 1/2 miles were much better. We started at the capital and ran through Memory Grove and ended at the Galivan Center. (Beautiful course for any runners out there that want to join us next year.) There was even a band at the two mile mark! It was so exciting at the start line with the Grizzle Bear and the Jazz Dancers warming us up, that Jaden and Jessie had to join us for the race. I couldn't believe they did it. I am so proud of them. Jaden ran most of it and Jessie walked with Josh, Kimmi and Bentley. Brad, Tricia and Staci also came with us, along with two of my friends, Lori and Janet. And thanks to Ty and Jaxon, we have these great pictures!
