Best Valentine's EVER!

Wake Up... I made breakfast!!!  Valentine's Day started out with me waking up early to go running.  It was snowing so I didn't go, but I made heart shaped french toast!  There was only one problem... everyone was still sleeping!  Finally they all woke up and we had an awesome breakfast together followed by a little door bell ditching. (Only we had to leave the Valentine's on the inside of the house because of the snow.)  The Valentine's present happened to be another guitar for Rock Band, so we had to go play!  

Later that day Grandpa Dick treated the boys to a very special Valentine, The Monster Trucks!  They had a blast.  It was loud and the trucks were awesome!  Although the absolute favorite of the day were the motorcycles.  Ty, Jaxon and Jaden said they were amazing.  Thanks Grandpa Dick, we had a fantastic time!!!  (Thanks Kimmi and Mclaren for going to lunch and shopping with me and Jessie.  We have to do that again soon!)

Valentine Dinner... Yummy!

This year for Valentine's Day we celebrated a day early. Ty and I went out, so we got the kids their latest "favorite food". They really enjoyed their artichokes and sushi. (Of course Jaxon had pizza rolls and no sushi!)  They were so excited about it and they totally LOVED the dinner!!! Happy Valentine's Day kiddos!

Happy 14th Jaden!

Time sure flies... Jaden just celebrated his 14th birthday.  It seems like yesterday we were having to bounce that cute screaming baby! Aren't we glad those days are over.  This year his birthday was on a Tuesday, so we decided to celebrate it on Sunday. It started with breakfast in bed and presents. He also got his birthday dinner at Grandma Jo's with his favorite... roast, mashed potatoes and gravy and of course cheesecake.  He thought that was great!  On Tuesday, his actual birthday, He and I went to McDonald's for breakfast at 6:30 am, then I took him to school.  Such a fun mommy/son date!  He is very spoiled and so he got a few more presents that night.  He of course got to pick the restaurant for dinner.  The restaurant of choice was the Last Samuri because he wanted sushi... a man after his dad's heart!  Happy Birthday Jaden Rasch! We love you.
