Best Valentine's EVER!

Wake Up... I made breakfast!!!  Valentine's Day started out with me waking up early to go running.  It was snowing so I didn't go, but I made heart shaped french toast!  There was only one problem... everyone was still sleeping!  Finally they all woke up and we had an awesome breakfast together followed by a little door bell ditching. (Only we had to leave the Valentine's on the inside of the house because of the snow.)  The Valentine's present happened to be another guitar for Rock Band, so we had to go play!

Later that day Grandpa Dick treated the boys to a very special Valentine, The Monster Trucks!  They had a blast.  It was loud and the trucks were awesome!  Although the absolute favorite of the day were the motorcycles.  Ty, Jaxon and Jaden said they were amazing.  Thanks Grandpa Dick, we had a fantastic time!!!  (Thanks Kimmi and Mclaren for going to lunch and shopping with me and Jessie.  We have to do that again soon!)

Valentine Dinner... Yummy!

This year for Valentine's Day we celebrated a day early. Ty and I went out, so we got the kids their latest "favorite food". They really enjoyed their artichokes and sushi. (Of course Jaxon had pizza rolls and no sushi!)  They were so excited about it and they totally LOVED the dinner!!! Happy Valentine's Day kiddos!

Happy 14th Jaden!

Time sure flies... Jaden just celebrated his 14th birthday.  It seems like yesterday we were having to bounce that cute screaming baby! Aren't we glad those days are over.  This year his birthday was on a Tuesday, so we decided to celebrate it on Sunday. It started with breakfast in bed and presents. He also got his birthday dinner at Grandma Jo's with his favorite... roast, mashed potatoes and gravy and of course cheesecake.  He thought that was great!  On Tuesday, his actual birthday, He and I went to McDonald's for breakfast at 6:30 am, then I took him to school.  Such a fun mommy/son date!  He is very spoiled and so he got a few more presents that night.  He of course got to pick the restaurant for dinner.  The restaurant of choice was the Last Samuri because he wanted sushi... a man after his dad's heart!  Happy Birthday Jaden Rasch! We love you.

Rock Band Mania

Friday night Big G and Grandma Nancy came to Park City to hang out with us. We always love when they come to visit! We went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Sabor. We found out it's one of Grandma Nancy's too! After, we came back to our house for a little Rock Band! It was Big G and Grandma's first time playing and they were fabulous! Jaxon and Jessie were very nice to help them out. Jaden played the drums, Ty watched and laughed and I was the photographer.

Not to shabby for first timers!!! Way to go Big G and Grandma!

Sleep-over or We Could Say Stay-over!!

This year  we thought it would be fun to have a sleepover with the "three boys"!  It was so fun and they are so cute.  Everything went great except for the sleeping part... but really... who sleeps at a sleepover anyway?  We had special U of U snacks and watched the game.  All three were yelling, "GO UTES!"  They took a bath and got ready for bed.  Jessie read them a story... well actually, 6 stories!  In the morning we had snowman pancakes with the good syrup. (You know I should get the "aunt of the year" award for making homemade syrup at 7:00 am!)   It was a blast... but I think next year we'll be changing the name of the party to "Sleepless in Park City!"

It's becoming a tradition to have a bubble bath and a popsicle!

They brushed their teeth for 5 full minutes...

Here they are tricking Aunt Lisa into making her think they might actually sleep!!

Ty's New Toy...

This morning we got up and of course it had snowed.  Nothing new for us so Ty went out and cleared the driveway and fire lane.  He came in and said, "I think I'm going to get a new snowblower.  Ours is breaking and plus we need one that throws the snow higher."  Okay... so he listed ours on ksl.com and within an hour we had two people at our door to buy it.  Who knew?  And who knew that Lisa would have to break up the fight about who was here first to get it.  Seriously... it's just an 8 year old breaking down snowblower. Of course I called Ty and he couldn't stop them from fighting, so I decided whoever had the most CASH got the thing!  I figured Ty could keep the amount he settled on with them and I could keep the rest since I had to referee the idiots!  I thought the idea was brilliant! Bummer that I ended up with only $25 and one REALLY ticked off dude.

Bye Bye old small 7 horsepower fella...

Hello BIG GUY!!!!  This baby is an 11 horsepower snowblower...
Ty says it's like a car... it's awesome!

Grandma Jo's Christmas Breakfast

Christmas morning we always go to Grandma Jo's and Grandpa Ric's.  We have the most luscious breakfast.  Grandma always makes her sausage souffle and homemade cinnamon rolls. We look forward to the Christmas menu all year!  Then we hang out and exchange gifts. We are getting so big, we took the present opening to the basement.  And when we tried to get a picture of everyone, it took two shots to get everyone!

The kids love drawing names and exchanging presents with all the cousins.
